Children Assembly: నవంబర్ 26న బాలల అసెంబ్లీ

 గత సమావేశంలో పిల్లలతో అసెంబ్లీ నిర్వహించాలని ప్రతిపాదించాం.*
*అప్పుడే సమాజంలో ఏ మార్పు రావాలని భావిస్తున్నామో అది జరుగుతుంది.*
*నవంబర్‌ 26న పిల్లలతో కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించాలని భావిస్తున్నాం.*
*ఆరోజు స్పీకర్‌ ఎన్నిక కూడా పిల్లలతో నిర్వహిస్తాం.*
*హక్కులే కాదు.. బాధ్యతలు కూడా ఉంటాయని పిల్లలకు తెలియాలి.*
*గ్రామస్థాయి నుంచి పోటీ పెట్టి ప్రతి నియోజకవర్గం నుంచి ఒక్కొక్కరిని తీసుకొచ్చి ఇక్కడ చర్చ పెట్టాలని భావిస్తున్నాం.

నవంబర్ 26న భారత రాజ్యాంగ దినోత్సవం రోజున బాలల అసెంబ్లీ నిర్వహణకు మంత్రి లోకేష్ ప్రతిపాదించగా, శాసనసభ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది.  గత సమావేశాల్లో బాలల అసెంబ్లీ నిర్వహణని ప్రతిపాదించా. చట్టసభల నిర్వహణపై పిల్లలకు అవగాహన ఏర్పడుతుంది. అప్పుడే సమాజంలో మనం ఆశిస్తున్న మార్పు వస్తుంది. కేవలం హక్కులేకాదు, బాధ్యతలు కూడా ఉంటాయని బాలలకు తెలుస్తాయని అన్నారు. 

Dr. K.S.Kothari stated that “The future of the Nation is shaping in four walls of the school”. Students are the future citizens. The nation’s wealth is depends on the responsible citizens. School is the place where students are molding for our better future. The activities provided by the school making students as 21st century citizens. In this connection an innovative activity is designed for High School Students to act as a policy makers from the constituent Assembly.
Objective of the programme:
Provide Political Literacy for young Generation. Create awareness on Policy designing and implementation Provide First Hand experience at Constituent Assembly
What is Student’s Assembly?
This is an innovative activity in the department of School Education. Invite selected students across the State to the Constituent Assembly and conduct mock assembly with these students by providing first hand experience. This gives them immense pleasure by getting knowledge about Policy making and implementation.
Action Plan:
Here’s a detailed action plan to conduct Student’s Assembly from School to Constituent Assembly at State Capital Amaravathi. Students who are studying 8th , 9th and 10th in Government Management Schools are eligible for this innovative activity. Elocution and Quiz competitions will be conducted for those students at different levels for high school students. The finalists being invited to the constituency Assembly at the State Legislature. Competitions will be conducted at Assembly Constituency level in two events i.e Elocution and Quiz. All the High Schools in that Assembly Constituency shall send their students to participate in the competition. First five of the elocution competition will be allowed for Quiz competition. The Winner of Quiz competition will be allowed to participate in Constituent Assembly State level as a representative from his Assembly Constituency.
Pre-Event Planning (4-6 weeks before the event)
1. Define the theme: Choose a relevant and engaging theme for the elocution competition, such as “Empowering Youth for a Better Tomorrow” or “Challenges Facing Our Society.”
2. Set eligibility criteria: Decide on the eligibility criteria for participants, including age group, grade level, and school affiliation.
3. Select a date and time: Schedule the competition on a date and time that works best for the participants, judges, and logistics.
4. Choose a venue: Book a suitable venue for conduct of the competition at Assembly Constituency level, considering factors like seating capacity, audio-visual equipment, and accessibility.
5. Invite schools and participants: Reach out to all Government management High Schools, inviting them to participate in the competition. Provide registration
forms and guidelines for participants.
6. Assemble a judging panel: Recruit a panel of impartial judges with expertise in public speaking, communication, or education.
7. Plan logistics: Arrange for sound and audio-visual equipment, seating, and other necessary amenities.
Registration and Preparation (2-4 weeks before the event):
1. Registration deadline: Set a deadline for participants to register and submit their registration forms.
2. Provide guidelines and rules: Share detailed guidelines and rules with registered participants,
including time limits, topic selection, and evaluation criteria.
3. Topic selection: Allow participants to select their topics from a list of options related to the chosen theme.
4. Prepare participant materials: Provide participants with materials like scorecards, evaluation sheets, and certificates of participation.
Event Execution (Day of the event)
1. Welcome and introduction: Welcome participants, judges, and guests, and introduce the competition’s theme and rules.
2. Competition rounds: Conduct the competition in rounds, allowing each
participant to deliver their speech within the allotted time frame.
3. Judging and evaluation: Have the judges evaluate each participant’s speech based on the predetermined criteria, such as content, delivery,
and overall impact.
4. Select finalists: Choose the top participants to move on to the final round, which will be held at the State legislature.
Post-Event Activities:
1. Finalist announcement: Announce the finalists and invite them to the constituency assembly at the State legislature.
2. Certificate distribution: Distribute certificates of participation to all participants
and certificates of achievement to the finalists.
3. Feedback and evaluation: Gather feedback from participants, judges, and guests to improve future events.
Constituency Assembly at State Legislature:
1. Invite finalists: Invite the finalists to the constituency assembly at the State legislature, where they will deliver their speeches to a larger audience as Representative of their concerned Assembly
Constituency.
2. Coordinate with State legislature: Collaborate with the State legislature to arrange the logistics, timing, and other details for the constituency assembly.
3.Q&A Session: Host a Q&A session, where students can ask questions and engage in discussions with the State legislators and other guests.
4. Interactions with State Legislators: Facilitate interactions between the student participants and the State legislators, allowing students to learn about the legislative process and governance.
5. Promote the event: Publicize the event through social media, local newspapers, and other channels to encourage Students as Policy Makers.
What Students to Do
Here are some instructions that can be given to students participating in the elocution competition:
General Instructions:
1. Arrival and Registration: Arrive at the venue on time and report to the registration desk. Collect your participant ID card and confirm your participation.
2. Dress Code: Dress formally and avoid casual wear.
3. Mobile Phones: Switch off your mobile phones or put them on silent mode during the competition.
4. Respect the Judges and Audience: Show respect to the judges, audience, and fellow participants.
Speech Delivery Instructions:
1. Time Limit: Your speech should not exceed the allotted time (e.g., 3-5 minutes).
2. Topic: Stick to the chosen topic and avoid deviating from it.
3. Language: Speak clearly and confidently in the chosen language (e.g., English, Hindi, etc.).
4. Body Language: Maintain good posture, make eye contact, and use appropriate gestures.
5. Audio-Visual Aids: Use audio-visual aids (e.g., slides, props) only if necessary and with prior permission.
Judging Criteria:
1. Content (40%): Relevance, depth, and originality of the content.
2. Delivery (30%): Confidence, clarity, and effectiveness of the delivery.
3. Language and Style (20%): Use of language, tone, and style.
4. Overall Impact (10%): Engagement, persuasion, and overall impact on the audience.
Additional Tips:
1. Practice: Rehearse your speech several times to feel confident and comfortable.
2. Be Original: Avoid plagiarism and deliver an original speech.
3. Engage with the Audience: Make eye contact, vary
your tone, and encourage audience participation.
4. Stay Calm: Take deep breaths, relax, and enjoy the experience.
Event Execution (Day of the event):
1. Welcome and Introduction: Welcome the student participants, accompanying staff/faculty, and invited guests. Introduce the event’s purpose and agenda.
2. Student Speeches: Allow the selected student
participants to deliver their speeches on the chosen topics.
3. Security Instructions :Follow Security Protocols: Adhere to the security protocols and instructions provided by the State legislature’s security
personnel.
4. Carry ID Cards: Bring your school ID cards and any other required identification.
Post-Event Activities:
1. Certificate Distribution: Distribute certificates of participation to the student participants.
2. Feedback and Evaluation: Gather feedback from the student participants, accompanying staff/faculty, and
State legislators to improve future events.
3. Media Coverage: Invite local media to cover the event, promoting the students’ achievements and the State legislature’s engagement with youth.
By following this guidelines, we can create a meaningful and engaging experience for students at the State legislature, fostering their civic awareness, public speaking skills, and interest in governance.
